It is getting increasingly difficult to find a decent Red Bordeaux under $20.00 but it can be done. This is a fine example of a bottle that is ready to drink and priced incredibly well. On a recent trip to Grapevine Wines and Spirits in Kirkwood, MO we picked up this well-priced wine from Chateau Haut Clary. A 2019 vintage that is full of blackberry and blackcurrant on the nose. As you taste you find the red fruits coming forward with notes of strawberry and red currant and enticing vanilla overtones from the oak. A great bottle with steak or even a great hamburger. It is ready to drink and priced to enjoy often.
