Wine Review:
2021 Division Villages 'L'Avoiron' Rosé of Gamay Noir Cost: $24.00 Alcohol: 12.5% Winemakers Kate Norris and Thomas Monroe were inspired by the wineries of Loir, Beaujolais, Burgundy, and the Northern Rhone which is where the duo first learned about winemaking. Today they have settled into Oregon and Washington State in one of the fastest growing and diverse American wine growing regions of the past 40 years: the Columbia Valley. Their goal is to create approachable, balanced wines with minimal interference. Many of their wines are organic and delicious examples of wines the winemakers themselves love to drink. Today’s wine, the 2021 Division-Villages “l’Avoiron” Rosé of Gamay Noir is yet another delicious rosé from Division. A wine that is crisp, refreshing, juicy, and simply incredible. Tinged with the aromas of watermelon and strawberry. There is a refreshing minerality of the finish. An exceptional wine at a reasonable price.
